Where to buy Chaeto and other macro algae

When I first started my refugium build none of the etailers such as MarineDepot.com and LiveAquaria.com had any Chaeto available. This is still the case. It seems to sell out quickly.

Your best bet is eBay! There are usually several hobbyist looking to unload their overgrowth of Chaeto. Chaeto ships well by priority mail which usually takes 2-3 days. Just don't have it shipped on excessively hot days. Most eBay vendors will simply put the algae in a zip lock bag and a cardboard box.

Reefcentral.com is also a good source for Chaeto. Go to the WTS or want to sell message boards and find someone that is helpful. Some of these guys have a ton to offer.
